Supporting older adults has never been just a job for me it's been one of the most meaningful parts of my life.
Every program I create, every resident I encourage, and every weekend I spend serving older adults is rooted in one simple belief:
Every senior deserves to feel seen, valued, active, and connected.

Years of Senior Life Enrichment Experience
Years as a Dementia Family Caregiver
Accredited Activity Professional
Long before RetroActive existed, my greatest teacher was my grandmother.
For more than five years, I had the privilege of helping care for my grandmother as she lived with dementia. Those years taught me lessons no textbook ever could.
I learned that meaningful moments don't have to be complicated.
Watching dementia change someone I loved gave me a deeper understanding of patience, compassion, and the importance of creating joyful moments even during difficult seasons of life.
Those experiences continue to shape every program I lead today.
For more than seven years, I've served older adults as a Life Enrichment Director, creating engaging experiences that support physical wellness, emotional health, cognitive stimulation, and meaningful social connection.
During my career I've worked with residents in:
Every community has taught me something new. Every resident has reminded me that no two people age the same way.
That's why every RetroActive program is adaptable, inclusive, and designed to help participants feel successful regardless of mobility or cognitive ability.

I am proud to hold professional accreditation through the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP), reflecting my commitment to high-quality activity programming, continued professional development, and person-centered engagement.
This certification represents a dedication to creating experiences that support older adults physically, emotionally, socially, and cognitively.
During my years working in senior living, I noticed something that kept happening.
Weekdays were often filled with appointments, activities, therapy sessions, and structured programming.
Weekends felt different.
I knew older adults deserved better. So I created RetroActive.
Not simply to provide exercise classes. But to create weekends filled with movement, laughter, conversation, music, creativity, and connection.
Today, RetroActive specializes in helping communities and families transform weekends into something residents genuinely look forward to.
When you choose RetroActive, you're not simply hiring someone to lead an activity.
You're inviting someone into your community or your loved one's home. That's a responsibility I never take lightly.
You can expect me to arrive prepared, professional, dependable, and fully present.
My goal is for every participant to leave feeling more confident, more connected, and happier than when they arrived.
Whether I'm leading a room of fifty residents or spending one-on-one time with an older adult, every interaction is built around dignity, encouragement, and genuine human connection.
More than seven years serving older adults in senior living communities.

Every resident deserves to feel included, respected, encouraged, and successful regardless of physical or cognitive ability.
If I have the privilege of serving your community or your family, my promise is simple.
I will treat every older adult with the same patience, dignity, compassion, and respect that I would want for my own grandmother.
Because I know firsthand how important those moments are.
